Congratulations to the 2024 SAR Scholarship winners

Queensbury, NY - The Scholarship Sub Committee of Southern Adirondack REALTORS Affiliate and Member Services Committee awards area HS Graduates with Scholarships.

Chair Eden Whitaker along with other committee members and Board of Directors welcomed recipients families recently to celebrate their successes. President-Elect Scott Cross honored the recipients with a heartfelt speech that highlighted just some the outstanding accomplishments of each awardee.

“Ava Snyder is a student from Glens Falls Senior High School, her Mom and REALTOR® Julie Snyder is the reason she is standing in front of us today.  Ava is going to be attending Hamilton College in the fall.  Ava was the only student in her High School that locked into the International Baccalaureate program for the last 2 years.  She was also the Lt. Governor for District 15 Key Club”.

“Veronica Dennis, soon to be Rogge is the 2nd recipient.  Veronica’s Mom, Heather Rogge and soon to be Father by adoption, Sean Rogge are both REALTORS® of SAR.  Veronica is a graduate from Queensbury High School and will be attending SUNY Adirondack in the fall for Graphic Design, graduating with 32 college credits already, she plans to finish this degree and then pursue a degree in Psychology.”

“These $1000 scholarships are not just financial support; they are a symbol of trust and belief in your potential.  They serve as a testament to the countless hours you have spent honing your skills, pushing the boundaries of your abilities, and embracing the challenges that come your way.  Through your determination, you have proven that dreams can be achieved, barriers can be shattered, and the impossible can become possible. “

Congratulations to Ava Snyder and Veronica Rogge on being this year’s SAR Scholarship winners!  “Now, go forth with purpose and conviction, and let your actions speak volumes.  You have the power to make a difference, and we believe in your ability to change the world.
