2019 REALTOR of the Year Announced

QUEENSBURY, NY:  The Southern Adirondack REALTORS®, Inc. , a membership organization,  not-for-profit based in Queensbury with over 475 members covering all of Warren and northern Saratoga and Washington Counties  has announced the recipients of their 2019 REALTOR® of the YEAR Award.  The honored recipients are David and Judy Collins of Queensbury and REALTORS® with the Century 21 Potvin Realty  of Glens Falls.

Pictured: The Collin’s were recognized in February by the New York State Association of REALTORS® (NYSAR), with congratulations from 2019 NYSAR President Moses Seuram at their statewide mid-winter meeting at the Desmond Hotel in Albany.

The coveted REALTOR® of the Year award was bestowed upon the Collin’s at the Southern Adirondack REALTORS®, Inc. (SAR) annual Gala held in December with over 200 in attendance and received a crystal award and other presentations.  The Collins team had been nominated by SAR and won a statewide Outstanding Community Service award from NYSAR in 2018 and attended the National Association of REALTORS Convention in San Diego in November, 2019 as part of that recognition award to represent NYS.

Together, Dave and Judy Collins have been an inspiration to others and have motivated others to do the same for our community. Their outstanding and selfless volunteer work with the Southern Adirondack REALTORS® organization includes spearheading annual cleanup days at the Double H Ranch, organizing Veteran related support programs, assisting with local blood drives, meals on wheels deliveries, food bank collections, Adopt a Family projects and Habitat for Humanity builds. They continually set an incredible example to their REALTOR® colleagues and other members of the community through their acts of good will and hands on volunteerism. Their example of giving  has inspired many others inside and outside of the REALTOR® family to step up, sign up, get involved and volunteer themselves.   They truly are ‘good neighbors’ who sincerely, and selflessly benefit the community where they live and work, and we feel they are deserving of this important recognition.
