Queensbury, NY: The Southern Adirondack REALTORS, Inc. (SAR) a locally based regional non-profit association of over 570 REALTORS is pleased to announce the hiring of Jennalee Lukacs of Queensbury to their staff. Ms. Lukacs is a South Glens Falls native, attending SGF schools K-12. She received her BA from Paul Smith’s College in Recreation & Tourism and went on to work in both the hospitality and retail fields. Her position as Education & Member Services Coordinator at the Southern Adirondack REALTORS will be focused on assisting the association’s volunteer committees with development of new value-added member benefits, overall membership growth and further expanding their comprehensive education and business development programs for their members. “I find it very inspiring that all of the committee and board members here are local volunteers who take time out of their busy lives to be involved with SAR and their communities through the various fundraisers, events and volunteer opportunities provided by the association. I look forward to assisting them in any way that I can. I truly enjoy every aspect of the program and event planning process from inception to marketing and execution- even the analysis and reporting at the end.” Lukacs noted.
Association Executive/CEO Luisa Craige-Sherman was impressed by the energy and talent that Lukacs would bring to the association and knew that her local roots would serve her well in understanding the communities the association and its Realtor and Affiliate members serve. “We were looking for someone with event planning know-how and consumer oriented marketing savvy who could promote our message further to our members, the general public and provide support and guidance to several of our core committees. Jennalee was the outstanding choice among very tough competition for this position,” Craige-Sherman recounted. Ms. Lukacs has jumped in with both feet and has already added interactive content to the association’s informative public and members websites, published event and member newsletters and is finalizing the association’s day long educational seminars to be held at the Queensbury Hotel in May for REALTORS. In the near future the association will begin creating video content for its websites.
“I am very excited and honored to work for an organization that is dedicated to bringing people here, adding value to our region, and participating in local community outreach.”, stated Ms. Lukacs.
